Many people only know of Acadia National Park climbing for Otter Cliffs, one of the only places in the states where you can climb directly above the ocean. However, Acadia has much more to offer than just cliff side top ropes. Enjoy phenomenal single and multi pitch trad routes on excellent granite, with many routes offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. On your rest day, hike to the top of Cadillac Mountain, one of the first places to see the sunrise in the US, or rent bikes or kayaks to explore the Island. The park has several different campgrounds, or head into Bar Harbor for great hotels and restaurants.
