Enchanted Rock is about as opposite in style as you can get from the other Texas hotspot, Reimer's Ranch. While the ranch provides overhanding limestone sport climbs, Enchanted Rock is slabby granite with spitter cracks and technical faces. Bring your head game if you're looking to clip bolts, and solid jamming technique is you want to plug gear. The climbing is spread out across the park, and can be a bit hard to locate, even with the guidebook. Give yourself time to explore and enjoy the view. Getting to the top of Enchanted Rock, either by climbing or hiking, is a must.
